Criteria to exhibit will be more selective this year. Vendors must fit into one of the abovementioned businesses. If you are in doubt, please give us a call.
Who will attend?
This event attracted over 8,000 people in 2007 from Vermont and the surrounding area.
Each year the displays are fresh and new and each year there are speakers that continually raised the level of knowledge of horticulture in Vermont and the North East in general.
This years Vermont Flower Show display stimulates the imagination through movement, color, scale, and texture. We would like to invite you to enjoy a few Green Hours here, and explore ways in which we can help encourage outdoor garden play for our children and for ourselves, both for our health, and the future health of our environment. Vermonts premier Flower Show presented by Green Works - The VermontrnNursery and Landscape - a Top 10 Winter Event.

“Child’s Play” is the theme for the Flower Show in 2009 and the show designer is Rebecca
Lindenmeyr, from Linden Landscaping & Design, Inc., who also designed the 2007 show. Her
interpretation of the 2009 theme focuses on encouraging garden play for children and the young at
heart. Lindenmeyr says, “Regular time spent in nature and in the garden can reduce the impact of
life stress and enhance curiosity and confidence throughout life. We could all benefit from more
play time outdoors to rediscover our sense of wonder, imagination and freedom. My goal for the
show is to stimulate the imagination through movement, color, scale, and texture, and it will
include such features as a fairy house forest, kinetic sculpture, Mr. McGregor’s veggie garden, an
evergreen maze, several water features, a giant tree house, and a star gazing tent“.
